After few months an XDA developer has edited the system files from stock rom and have made rooting compitable with the phone. • Adb+FastBoot          DOWNLOAD
• PreRooted Rom       DOWNLOAD  Google Drive Link DOWNLOAD
• 7-Zip Software         DOWNLOAD

Steps to Root Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Ze550KL Easily:~

• At the first you need to download all the files which are mentioned above in the requirements section.
• After downloading the adb fastboot zip extract it and move it to following location C:\Users\PCname.
• Now extract the pre rooted file and you will see many files like system.img.7z.001-006

• Now Right click on system.img.7z.001 and choose 7-Zip and click on extract here.
• Now after the extraction process is completed you can see a system.img file in the folder.
• Now copy the boot.img , recovery.img , system.img to Adb-fastboot folder.

• Now connect your phone to USB and enable debugging mode by going into settings>about>Software information>click on Build number 5-7 times and then go back to settings you’ll see developer options then click on enable USB debugging
• Now switch off your phone and when it gets off Click on Power Button + Volume up button at a time.
• Now your phone will be in fastboot mode, for root zenfone 2.
• Now come back to PC/Laptop to the Adb fastboot folder where boot,recovery and system.img is copied.
• Now press Shift key of keyboard + Right Click of mouse and choose Open Command Window Here.

• Now Command prompt will open then copy paste the below commands in cmd one by one.

                fastboot devices
                fastboot flash boot boot.img
                fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
                fastboot flash system system.img
                fastboot oem reboot-recovery

• While flashing system.img it will say target reported max download size but wait for some time it will start automatically.

• Now enter this command  fastboot oem reboot-recovery and phone will boot into recovery.
• Now clear data/factory reset and delete cache and reboot your phone.
• BOOOOM!!!!! You’re done with it. You have successfully rooted your Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Ze550KL/Ze601KL.

Follow the above steps carefully and do not mess up with the wrong files it may cause bootloop. While downloading the pre rooted firmware check the files of your device and download.
